2. Assistant Diesel Mechanic (Contractual)

  • Passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.

  • ITI in Diesel Mechanic trade from a Government Recognized Institute.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in maintenance of mechanical systems or compressors.

3. Mechanical Supervisor (Contractual)

• Educational Qualification:

  • Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 years) from a Government Recognized Institute.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, including gas pipelines or reciprocating compressors.

📚 Educational Qualification for MDL Recruitment 2025

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited has divided the recruitment into three groups (A, B, and C) based on the educational qualifications required:

🔹 Group A (10th Class Passed)

• Candidates must have passed SSC (10th Std.) examination with Science and Mathematics.

• Minimum 50% marks are required for General, OBC, SEBC, EWS, DIVYANG, and AFC categories.

• Pass class is acceptable for SC/ST candidates.

• Higher qualified candidates (12th/Graduates) can apply, but eligibility will be decided on the basis of SSC marks only.

🔹 Group B (ITI Passed)

• Must have passed ITI in the relevant trade from a Government-recognized or NCVT-approved institute.

• Relevant trades include:

  • Fitter

  • Draftsman (Mechanical)

  • Electrician

  • ICTSM (Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance)

  • Electronic Mechanic

  • Plumber

  • Welder

  • Carpenter

  • COPA (Computer Operator & Programming Assistant)

  • RAC (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic)

• Minimum 50% marks are required for General, OBC, SEBC, EWS, DIVYANG, and AFC candidates; pass class is acceptable for SC/ST.

• Candidates who are currently in their final semester can also apply but must pass before 01-10-2025.

🔹 Group C (8th Class Passed)

• Must have passed 8th Std. with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system.

• Minimum 50% marks for General, OBC, SEBC, EWS, DIVYANG, and AFC.

• Pass class for SC/ST candidates.

• Higher qualified candidates may apply, but selection will be based only on 8th Std. marks.

🎓 NMDC Apprentice 2025 Eligibility Criteria

📌 Educational Qualifications

• Trade Apprentices: Must have an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institute.

• Graduate Apprentices: 4-year degree (B.E./B.Tech) in the respective discipline from a recognized university.

• Technician Apprentices: 3-year diploma in the relevant field from a recognized institute.

📌 Year of Passing

Candidates who have completed their qualification after 2021 are eligible. Those who passed in 2021 or earlier, or who have already undergone apprenticeship training earlier, are not eligible.

Eligibility Criteria

Note: Candidates must have studied Tamil as a subject or medium of instruction in 10th/SSLC, as regional language proficiency is mandatory for Neyveli postings.
