Educational Qualifications

The qualifications required for each discipline are as follows:

1. Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 years full-time).

2. Technician Apprentice (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering (3 years full-time).

3. Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering (3 years full-time).

4. Technician Apprentice (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 years full-time).

5. Technician Apprentice (Electronics): Diploma in Electronics Engineering (3 years full-time).

6. Trade Apprentice (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist): Matriculation with ITI in the respective trade.

7. Graduate Apprentice: Regular full-time graduate in BA, B.Com, B.Sc, or BBA.

8. Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator): Class 12th (Skill certificate required for some posts).

Note: Only candidates meeting the stipulated educational qualifications between the specified time frames are eligible. For Technician and Graduate Apprentices, the qualification must be acquired between 01.04.2021 and 31.01.2025. For Trade Apprentices, it should be between 01.04.2020 and 31.01.2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as of 1st July 2025):

• Junior Manager and Executive: 18 to 30 years (Born between 2nd July 1995 and 1st July 2007).

• MTS: 18 to 33 years (Born between 2nd July 1992 and 1st July 2007).

Note: Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.

Educational Qualifications:

1. Junior Manager (Finance):

   • CA / CMA certification.

2. Executive (Civil / Electrical / Signal & Telecommunication):

   • Three years Diploma in Engineering in the relevant trade with a minimum of 60% marks.

3. MTS:

   • Matriculation (10th) pass along with ITI or Apprenticeship certification in the relevant trade with a minimum of 60% marks.

Qualification and Eligibility Criteria

HRRL Recruitment 2025 has specific educational and experience requirements for each role. For example, candidates applying for the Junior Executive – Chemical position must have a Diploma in Chemical Engineering or a B.Sc. in Chemistry, with a maximum age limit of 25 years. Engineers in Instrumentation must hold a B.E./B.Tech. in Instrumentation or Electronics with three years of relevant experience and a maximum age of 29 years. Similarly, Senior Engineers in Process (Refinery) require a B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering and six years of experience, with a maximum age limit of 34 years. Senior Managers for various roles must have a B.E./B.Tech. in relevant fields such as Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering, along with 12 years of experience, and their maximum age limit is 42 years.

Educational Qualifications

Junior Executive – Mechanical

• A regular full-time BE/B.Tech degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in any of the following disciplines:

  • Mechanical

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories are eligible for a 5% relaxation in marks.

Junior Executive – Electrical & Electronics

• A regular full-time BE/B.Tech degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).

• SC/ST/PwD candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in marks.

Experience Requirements

Candidates must have 0-2 years of post-qualification industrial experience in relevant fields:

• Mechanical: Manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly.

• Electrical & Electronics: Installation and testing of electrical systems in earth-moving equipment.

The eligibility requirements vary based on the position applied for. Here’s a post-wise breakdown:

1. MSW Cook

• Educational Qualification: Matriculation from a recognized board.

• Additional Requirements: Proficiency in trade tests; physical and medical fitness.

• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (age relaxation as per government rules).

2. MSW Mason

• Educational Qualification: Matriculation with a certification in building construction, brick masonry, or equivalent.

• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (relaxable).

3. MSW Blacksmith

• Educational Qualification: Matriculation with certification in blacksmithing or related fields.

• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (relaxable).

4. MSW Mess Waiter

• Educational Qualification: Matriculation with proficiency in trade tests and physical standards.

• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (relaxable).

To apply for the DRDO ITI Apprenticeship program, candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions:

1. Educational Qualification:
   Candidates must have passed their ITI certification in the respective trades from a recognized institution. The ITI certification must be recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

2. Age Limit:

   • The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 24 years at the time of applying.
   • Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government rules.

3. General Conditions:

   • Candidates should not have undergone or be undergoing apprenticeship training elsewhere, including DRDL.
   • Candidates who were previously terminated from DRDL’s Apprenticeship Program are not eligible to apply.
   • Two-time terminations from other establishments will make a candidate ineligible.
   • The apprenticeship training will be for one year starting from the commencement date.

  • Educational Qualification: Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks
